Only someone with a verified, in-date fire door inspector certificate can fill in a fire door inspection.
Anyone in your organisation can see doors, inspection records and defects. Starting, saving and submitting an inspection needs the qualification.
Adding your certificate
- Go to Account.
- Enter the certificate number, the date it was issued and, if it has one, the expiry date.
- Attach the certificate as a PDF or a photo.
- Choose Send for verification.
The Adore team checks the certificate and marks it Verified or Rejected. Until then it shows as Waiting for verification and you can't inspect yet.
When it expires
On the expiry date you can no longer start, continue or submit inspections. Any draft you'd started stays saved: add your renewed certificate and, once it's verified, carry on where you left off.
Inspections you've already submitted aren't affected. Each one keeps the certificate number it was signed with.
It's yours, not your organisation's
The qualification belongs to you as a person. If you inspect for more than one organisation, the same certificate covers all of them.
